Exciting Australian Farming Senior Stockperson opportunity

Based in the Darling Downs region of Southeast Queensland, our business has grown to an operation consisting of over 8,000 sows and progeny situated across five sites in the Clifton, Leyburn and Yelarbon area.

The agricultural team is made up of our teams of field staff, technical and support staff. Your new role with Cefn
We have an exciting new opportunity for a senior stockperson to join one of our pig farming teams and assist with completing the tasks required for the daily care of our stock on one of our farms situated in the Leyburn area.
The key objectives of this role will be completing animal husbandry tasks, ensuring animal hygiene, environments and high-quality pig health is maintained. Having a “hands on” role, you will support the team to meet physical tasks and production requirements for the farming unit.
You will be required to commitment to maintaining biosecurity, training, quality assurance programs and have regular interaction with farm management and your team leader.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years recent experience in pig farming. In addition, they must have a sound knowledge of practical pig production, demonstrate excellent communication skills and have confidence to work on their own initiative.

As an employer, we care about our people and offer the below renumeration.
Competitive wage $65,000 - 70,000 AUD per year. This includes regular overtime and an 11-day fortnightly roster.
Superannuation 11.5% of Salary
Annual leave loading 17.5%
