Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team in Division 1. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience or a degree in Occupational Health and Safety with a practical internship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide safety training and guidance to employees to promote a safe working environment.
- Work closely with management to address safety concerns and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety-related field, or a degree in Occupational Health and Safety with a practical internship.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and safety management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safe driver requirements for company vehicle usage.
- Prefer Bilingual Spanish / English
