```Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft or Denticon etc
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with dental staff to provide exceptional patient service
Skills:
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft or Denticon
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
