The ideal candidate for this Research Assistant position requires previous experience in Clinical Research, have a desire to learn opening advancement opportunities, be reliable, work as part of a team, be time efficient and pay attention to detail. You must currently live within a manageable commuting distance of the Beverly Hills area.
Key responsibilities within the research department include maintenance of regulatory documents, subject recruitment, data management, collection and processing of blood samples, and dispensing/administering investigational products. High-level phlebotomy skills are a must. Additional duties include:* Preparation and shipping of blood samples, and maintenance of study supplies and kits.* Performing patient vital signs and ECGs.* Data entry into sponsor-provided Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.* Maintenance of research-related certifications, including GCP (IATA preferred).* Collaboration within a team of investigators and clinical research coordinators.* Respectful and kind interaction with research subjects and colleagues.* Strict adherence to patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and applicable laws.* Participation in required training, including CSMC phlebotomy-specific clinical oversight.A High School Diploma or GED is required.
