As an HHA/PCA, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives by promoting their independence and well-being. As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will assist clients with daily living activities, providing both medical and non-medical support. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Performing light housekeeping and grocery shopping
- Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition
- Monitoring vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, temperature)
- Assisting with basic health needs
- Scheduling medical appointments and providing transportation
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities
- Keeping accurate records of patient care and health status
