Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team! Our client is an airbnb company in the south loop. Your responsibility is to flip units from check out time to check in (10:30am-6pm typical workday). The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Flexible schedule allowed. Must be available to start this weekend.
Paid every Wednesday.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean restrooms, kitchen, bedrooms and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Change bed linens
- Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing (linens, towels, etc.)
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation or ability to commute reliably to the work location
- Prior experience in cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory
- A positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
