Amae Health is seeking the right Credentialing Specialist to partner with us in providing care for complex adult patients. This position will be a 1099 Contract position up to 20hrs/ week and will work in close alignment with both internal and external process partners.
About the Job
We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist that is detail-oriented and professional with strong experience in credentialing and enrollment processes across multiple states within the behavioral health sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and private/commercial insurance systems, with the ability to streamline multi-step enrollment processes while ensuring adherence to all levels of compliance. Experience in OUD/SUD is advantageous but not required.
About You
Credentialing & Enrollment: Proven ability to manage credentialing and enrollment processes efficiently in a multi-state organization. Ideally you are familiar with payor enrollment and provider rostersMulti-State Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various state regulations and requirements in the behavioral health industry.Insurance Systems Proficiency: Expertise in working with Medicaid, Medicare, and private/commercial insurance, ensuring accurate and timely credentialing.
- Process Optimization: Strong skills in optimizing credentialing and enrollment workflows to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards.
- Compliance Management: Experience in maintaining and overseeing compliance with public and private payer standards.
- Behavioral Health Experience (Ideal but Not Required): Familiarity with OUD/SUD treatment protocols is a plus, enhancing the ability to manage specific care services effectively.
- Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism.
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.
- Possess strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities.
