Amae Health is seeking the right Credentialing Specialist to partner with us in providing care for complex adult patients. This position will be a 1099 Contract position up to 20hrs/ week and will work in close alignment with both internal and external process partners.

About the Job

We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist that is detail-oriented and professional with strong experience in credentialing and enrollment processes across multiple states within the behavioral health sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and private/commercial insurance systems, with the ability to streamline multi-step enrollment processes while ensuring adherence to all levels of compliance. Experience in OUD/SUD is advantageous but not required.

About You

Credentialing & Enrollment: Proven ability to manage credentialing and enrollment processes efficiently in a multi-state organization. Ideally you are familiar with payor enrollment and provider rostersMulti-State Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of various state regulations and requirements in the behavioral health industry.Insurance Systems Proficiency: Expertise in working with Medicaid, Medicare, and private/commercial insurance, ensuring accurate and timely credentialing.

Process Optimization: Strong skills in optimizing credentialing and enrollment workflows to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards.
Compliance Management: Experience in maintaining and overseeing compliance with public and private payer standards.
Behavioral Health Experience (Ideal but Not Required): Familiarity with OUD/SUD treatment protocols is a plus, enhancing the ability to manage specific care services effectively.
Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism.
Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.
Possess strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities.
