**ON-SITE POSITION IN FOXBOROUGH, LOOKING TO ATTRACT LOCAL TALENT. BS/BA IN SOCIAL OR BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES REQUIRED**
The Neurology Center of New England, a multi-specialty neurology center located centrally in Foxboro, MA, is looking for a highly motivated Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) to join our research team and contribute to the administration of industry-sponsored clinical studies for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's disease, migraine, and other neurological conditions. This qualified candidate will be working in collaboration with, and directly under the supervision of, the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator and Clinical Research Manager. The position is ideal for someone who wishes to continue to build their clinical research skills in a positive, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
Essential Job Functions will include (but not remain limited to):
- Recruiting subjects into clinical research trials, including but not limited to conduction of chart reviews in EMR system, pre-screening calls to review eligibility, meetings with subjects to review eligibility criteria at Screening visits, updates to eligibility spreadsheets to track status of candidacy, etc.
- Assisting with community outreach strategies (e.g. newspaper advertisements, filming content for social media, attending local support groups, etc.) to boost study recruitment efforts
- Collecting accurate and verifiable data to ensure completion of study-specific data and case report forms
- Maintaining subject binders and investigator site file (ISF)
- Assisting with shipping and handling of laboratory specimens as required per protocol
- Safeguarding GCP and protocol compliance
- Communicating with study Sponsors and study monitors to ensure appropriate subject data management and conduction of protocols
- Assisting with various clinical tasks such as questionnaire or cognitive test administration, vital signs collection, ECG collection, etc.
- Scheduling subject initial and follow-up appointments as needed
- Working as a team player with colleagues in all departments within NCNE
- Abiding by all OSHA and HIPAA compliance requirements and perform responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with NCNE values, policies, and procedures
Required Education & Experience:
- BS / BA in social or biological sciences; prior experience in clinical research environment preferred but not required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a health-related field
