Thrive Billing Services is a billing and credentialing company based in Minnesota that serves mental health professionals in small to medium private practices across the nation. Thrive is currently looking to contract with a Specialist who has experience with Behavioral Health billing specifically. The contracted position will begin with a few projects, with the potential for more consistent hours as our trust for one another grows.
The Billing Specialist must have experience with:
- Experience with EHRs: TherapyNotes, SimplePractice, Theranest, Procentive
- Collections: contacting clients to settle up balance due
- Submitting secondary claims
- Follow up and resolve on denied and unpaid claims
- Verifying benefits & eligibility
- Provide benefit information to providers & clients
- Monitor co-pays, deductibles, and payments
- Generate monthly financial reports for providers (Revenue, A/R)
- Respond to patient account inquiries
- Timely data entry
- Respond promptly to patient account inquiries
- HIPAA Training
- Please note any experience in providing billing for mental health providers. The best fit for this position is someone who is familiar with billing in Minnesota and/or the above mentioned EHRs, very organized, works efficiently and communicates effectively and regularly. The position offers an independent, flexible schedule and remote work opportunities.
