Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, where you will champion a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace environment. In this vital role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs across manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach will ensure adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and workers' compensation laws while fostering a culture of safety excellence. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS policies aligned with federal, state, and local regulations to ensure a safe manufacturing environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and root cause analysis to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Lead incident investigations by gathering facts, writing detailed reports, and recommending preventive measures to reduce future risks.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs on OSHA standards, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), workers' compensation law, occupational health practices, and emergency response procedures.
- Manage workers' compensation claims process in compliance with applicable laws; serve as liaison between employees, insurance providers, and legal entities.
- Promote a culture of safety through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incident reports, training sessions, and compliance documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and EPA standards related to environmental management.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and report writing for safety incidents or environmental violations.
- Knowledge of occupational health principles with experience in implementing health promotion programs within industrial settings.
- Prior experience delivering training & development programs on safety topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA compliance, and workers' compensation law.
- Familiarity with EHS management systems and best practices for maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
