Thrive Billing Services is a billing and credentialing company based in Minnesota that serves mental health professionals in small to medium private practices across the nation. Thrive is currently looking to contract with a Specialist who has experience with Behavioral Health billing specifically. The contracted position will begin with a few projects, with the potential for more consistent hours as our trust for one another grows.

The Billing Specialist must have experience with:

Experience with EHRs: TherapyNotes, SimplePractice, Theranest, Procentive
Collections: contacting clients to settle up balance due
Submitting secondary claims
Follow up and resolve on denied and unpaid claims
Verifying benefits & eligibility
Provide benefit information to providers & clients
Monitor co-pays, deductibles, and payments
Generate monthly financial reports for providers (Revenue, A/R)
Respond to patient account inquiries
Timely data entry
Respond promptly to patient account inquiries
HIPAA Training
Please note any experience in providing billing for mental health providers. The best fit for this position is someone who is familiar with billing in Minnesota and/or the above mentioned EHRs, very organized, works efficiently and communicates effectively and regularly. The position offers an independent, flexible schedule and remote work opportunities.
