Compensation:
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental compliance programs and policies within technical telecom facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Develops, implements, and monitors company safety programs and policies within technical facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Monitors environmental and industrial compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies
- Recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.
- Ability to inspect technical facilities to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and safety requirements
- Strong management, organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to ensure an effective and well-run team of environmental compliance and safety specialists
Qualifications ( Include Education Requirements, Experience Level, Required Skills ):
- Travel 50%
- Related Bachelor's degree and five years’ work experience with a minimum of five years environmental and safety regulatory experience
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in applying OSHA and federal EPA regulations
- A minimum of three to five years of experience managing technical or environmental activities in telecom or other technical facilities
- A minimum of three to five years of experience developing improved processes for reduced employee or facility risk
- A minimum of three to five years of experience managing direct reports or relevant experience.
- Strong management skills with the ability to effectively implement and oversee a team of compliance specialists; ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize projects and programs within a team structure; strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- High-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion.
- Intermediate Microsoft application experience; ability to quickly and effectively learn internal systems/tools
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
