You'll work hand-in-hand with our team to facilitate admission for hundreds of at-risk youth. You'll obsess (in a healthy way) over ensuring that every possible patient and family member feel taken care of by Charlie Health's admissions team. This position is highly interactive and serves as a critical part of aiding our patients, as you will be their first introduction to Charlie Health. The admissions team ensures that all admissions processes are completed within the designated time and documentation is professionally presented.

- Manages a team of admissions coordinators with the following responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

- Performance reviews
- Weekly 1:1 meetings
- Hiring, training, coaching, and development
- Oversight of team caseload
- Develops and implements admissions best practices, refines and updates standard admission and discharge processes, and oversees admissions staff.
- Reports and analyzes performance related to admissions and inquiries to Charlie Health senior management
- Responsible for high contact center service levels and call quality monitoring/coaching for team members
- Ensures team members are building deep trust and rapport with patients, parents, and providers and drives admissions conversations to gather demographics, presenting problems, and treatment histories
- Leads their team to champion each individual client's Charlie Health admissions process and addresses/resolves concerns from clients/families around Charlie Health's program
- Ensures team members are consistently and communicating in a timely fashion with all prospective clients, families, and referral sources to advance clients into Charlie Health's program
- Engages prospective clients, families, and referral sources in a compassionate, inclusive, and professional manner
- Partners closely with internal team members including clinical outreach, patient experience, and business operations to coordinate admissions processes
- Adapts to organizational change and departmental restructuring to fit the needs of our clients, families, and referral sources
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or similar field preferred (Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, or business administration a plus)
- 2-5+ years required experience in healthcare administration management (healthcare admissions experience preferred)
- 1-2+ years of Salesforce experience required
- Previous management experience required

- Experience working with young adults and adolescents
- Familiarity with outpatient mental health settings and services
- Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $90,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $105,000 and $125,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
