Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipeline Safety Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment across our pipeline construction sites. This position requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and compliance management to effectively oversee safety protocols and training initiatives. The Pipeline Safety Supervisor will work closely with construction management teams to promote a culture of safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement our client safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and EHS guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide training and support to employees on safety practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with construction management to assess risks associated with ongoing projects and implement mitigation strategies.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated on changes in safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to construction site safety.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, Safety principles.
- Proven experience in risk management within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking compliance and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying safety information to diverse teams.
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in compliance management related to workplace safety.
- Excellent computer skills for preparing daily reports.
- Pipeline Safety Experience Required.
