Job Summary:
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Plan and execute successful events from start to finish addressing full event life cycle
- Negotiate with and handle contracts for 3rd party sponsorships
- Event strategy and pre-event program management (including budget & event staffing)
- Onsite event management
- Types of events include:
- 3rd party conferences and meetings
- Ventra-owned client-facing events
- Ventra-owned internal-facing events & meetings
- Digital events & meetings
- Source, maintain and store event assets (i.e. booths, demo equipment, etc.)
- Ensure that events are consistent with branding guidelines
- Clearly present event plans and strategies to executive leadership
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Five to seven (5-7) years of experience planning & executing successful B2B events in a professional environment
- College degree required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience planning and executing successful events from start to finish addressing full event life cycle.
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with executives in a professional manner
- Understand requirements and translate them into event plans
- Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to multi-task & work independently
- Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills
