Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that support our business objectives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, database design, and experience with big data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Create and optimize database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems.
- Utilize Python for data manipulation and analysis tasks.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Monitor performance of BI solutions and make necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in developing and managing data warehouse solutions.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Azure Data Lake is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful services and API development.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to vaticinate future trends based on historical data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to smash through challenges creatively.
