The Safety Consultant will apply their expertise to promote and improve clients’ safety programs through on-site safety inspections, written safety programs, and safety training presentations. [** Spanish-speaking a plus **]
Basic Requirements:
- Approximately 3-8 years of experience in safety, loss control, or risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree or qualified/relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health and/or related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of OSHA standards - position would primarily be in the construction industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills when delivering safety training and/or interacting with clients.
- Capable of acquiring and applying detailed technical and regulatory information in a practical manner.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to plan and work independently with minimal supervision in a home-based office environment.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
