A Mid-Level Program Analyst must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs. Must be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes. Must be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations. Mus be able to effectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes. Requires relevant clinical informatics experience in a Veterans Administration healthcare setting. Conducts requirements gathering and use case analysis, information modeling, process documentation, and liaison tasks required to support the development of clinical informatics software or other clinical informatics project activities. Works independently or under only general direction. Must have experience and expertise in requirements development.
