Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Orderly to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment, support the surgical team, and ensure the comfort and safety of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room and other areas of the facility.
- Ensure that surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and available for use.
- Assist with positioning patients on the operating table and provide support during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide support to the surgical team as needed, including handling specimens and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
