We're looking to add an experienced Safety Manager to join our growing team, at our Home Office in Irvine, CA.
The Safety Manager will bring a thoughtful, organized and people focused approach to supporting associates through occupational injuries while maintaining accurate, timely and compliant claim processes. You work well across teams, communicate clearly, and use data to help strengthen injury management and return to work practices.
Responsibilities for Safety Manager
- Serve as a primary point of contact for workers’ compensation claims from initiation through closure.
- Processing and overseeing documentation, status reports, and claims
- Review medical reports, witness statements and investigation results and other documentation. Complies facts and data regarding accident reports and filed cases.
- Review accident reports to identify patterns of injury and to determine whether unsafe conditions contributed to the accident; advise restaurant managers of trends in injuries and proper safety procedures that may result in reduction of injuries
- Prepare and submit First Reports of Injury and related documentation accurately and on time.
- Administer safety training and tracking for all locations; complete the investigation process and safety management
- Administer safety training and tracking, full investigation process and safety management.
- Partner with third party administrators, carriers and insurance partners to support timely information exchange.
- Maintain visibility of open claims and support communication between injured associates
- Assist with coordination of modified duties assignments and interactive process meeting when necessary
- Audit restaurant locations to ensure safety is of utmost importance for our associates
- Provide clear compassionate guidance to injured associates on processes, timelines and available resources
- Support compliance with workers’ compensation regulations, OSHA recordkeeping and internal reporting standards.
- Oversee benefits administration and other duties as assigned
- Qualifications for Safety Manager
- Safety Manager with strong experience in Loss Control, OSHA compliance and Risk Management
- Proficiency in Claims Handling, Claims Management, and Insurance practice
- Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information
- 2-4 years of experience supporting workers’ compensation or occupational injury management
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable workers’ compensation laws, procedures and regulations
- Strong customer service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and organized records
- Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality or related industry is a plus
- Fluent in English and Spanish- Required
- Certifications (Preferred, Not Required) Workers Compensation, Risk Management, HR and/or Safety Certifications are a plus.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer screen
- Ability to travel to various locations throughout Southern California
