Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Safety professional to lead our safety initiatives across construction projects and operational sites. Duties
- Lead the development and execution of risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate safety hazards across multiple construction sites.
- Oversee compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), workers' compensation policies, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough safety audits, inspections, and site assessments to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices into daily operations and project planning.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to construction site needs, emphasizing hazard recognition, emergency response, and safe work practices.
- Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, document compliance activities, and generate reports for leadership review.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging risks related to construction safety to continuously enhance safety protocols.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
