Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Site Safety Lead to champion safety excellence across our construction sites. In this vital role, you will oversee all safety protocols, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a culture of safety awareness among team members. Duties

Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive site safety plans aligned with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and enforce corrective actions promptly.
Lead safety orientation sessions for new employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure understanding of site-specific safety procedures.
Monitor adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, NEC (National Electrical Code), workers' compensation policies, and other relevant compliance standards.
Manage incident investigations, document findings thoroughly, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with construction management teams to integrate safety into daily operations and project planning.
Oversee the use of construction management software for tracking safety metrics, training records, and compliance documentation.
Facilitate risk management strategies by identifying potential hazards early and implementing mitigation plans.
Liaise with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) professionals to ensure best practices are followed across all activities on site.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of occupational health advancements and industry best practices to promote a proactive safety culture.

Skills

Strong expertise in risk management principles tailored to construction environments.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and occupational health protocols.
Proven experience in construction management with a focus on safety oversight on active sites.
Excellent understanding of compliance management processes within the construction sector.
Proficiency in construction site experience with the ability to identify hazards quickly and accurately.
Familiarity with construction management software tools used for tracking safety performance and documentation.
Effective communication skills for training teams, conducting safety meetings, and liaising with regulatory agencies.
Ability to lead incident investigations thoroughly while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated capability in managing workers' compensation claims process when necessary.
