Job Overview: Safety Coordinator
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting a culture of safety on the job site by conducting regular job observations and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This role involves leading safety talks to educate team members on best practices and identifying areas of improvement. Additionally, the Safety Coordinator will assist with spotting and guiding deliveries to ensure safe and efficient handling of materials. The role also includes generating detailed safety reports to document observations, incidents, and recommendations for corrective actions, supporting continuous improvement in workplace safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Construction background is highly preferred; electrical experience is a significant plus.
- OSHA 30 certification is a bonus, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to train the right person who is motivated and eager to learn.
