ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for a skilled Solutions Consultant with solid experience in both the safety industry and software solutions sales. This key role is pivotal in enhancing and supporting the sales process by guiding potential customers through the technical and value add aspects of our software solutions. As a trusted safety advisor, the role plays a crucial role in helping customers comprehend the value and applicability of our solutions, thereby boosting customer engagement and driving successful sales outcomes. As part of a small, yet passionate team in a fast growing and scaling business - you will enjoy a fast paced, high-energy and agile approach to your work.
More specifically your key responsibilities will include:
- Customer Needs Analysis: Conduct detailed needs assessments with customers to understand their safety requirements and business processes in order to be able to act as a trusted advisor and offer comprehensive insights into the technical functionalities and safety implications of our software to ensuring solutions are directly aligned with customer requirements.
- Solution Customization and Demonstration: Engage with customers to deliver tailored, in-depth product demonstrations of our software solutions, ensuring they are adjusted to meet specific customer needs and challenges, solidifying the customers understanding and trust in our solutions.
- Sales Strategy Support: Collaborate with and support the sales team to develop strategies for new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion. Provide technical and safety industry expertise during sales cycles to assist the team in understanding client needs and matching them with our solutions and value.
- Team Collaboration: Ensure effective customer knowledge transfer through documenting and communicating customer specific configuration requirements, facilitating effective transitions from the sales team to customer success team for implementations.
- Proposal Development: Support the sales team to create detailed and compelling proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions.
- Technical Integration: Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge in software integration points such as APIs, webhooks, and other interfacing technologies to ensure seamless connectivity between a customer’s existing systems and our solutions.
- Product Liaison: Play a key role in providing feedback and insights to other areas of the business, including marketing and product teams, to help shape ongoing product enhancements and the business strategic roadmap.
- Training and Knowledge Share: Conduct internal training sessions to support the understanding and effective use of our products, including ensuring technical and safety industry value connections.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and advancements in SaaS technology to continuously refine and enhance the positioning of our solutions.
- Education and Advocacy: Educate potential customers on the benefits and capabilities of our solutions through speaking engagements, webinars, workshops, and at industry events.
ABOUT YOU
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a safety manager, with the ability to use real-world experience and expertise in safety protocols and systems to enhance the relevance and impact of our solutions in meeting business needs. Strong understanding of current US safety regulations and compliance requirements across various industries.
- 3 years’ experience in sales solution consulting, sales engineering, pre-sales or a similar role in the software industry preferred. Experience in safety software is very highly regarded.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
Strong understanding of software systems and platforms with knowledge in:
- SaaS architecture and cloud computing.
- Experience with interfacing technologies including API’s and webhooks as well as data migrations.
- Proficiency in using CRM software integrations points such as API’s webhooks and other interfacing technologies.

- Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; proficient in presenting complex solutions in a clear and persuasive manner and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, value-based solutions.
- Relationship-Building and Trust: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, serving as a reliable and credible advisor to enhance customer satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze client needs and business processes, along with the ability to demonstrate and troubleshoot software solutions.
- Adaptability and Learning: Quick to adapt to new technologies and eager to continuously learn and evolve with industry standards.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, coordinating with internal departments to deliver client-focused solutions.
