Flock Safety is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and high energy individual to join our Deployment Strategy team as a Deployment Specialist. The Deployment Specialist will own the design and development of successful plans for installation. This individual will work closely with the Sales team and customers to ensure the plan meets the customer's goals & local regulations while ensuring that the individual products will be successful when deployed.
How you’ll make an impact:
Work with Sales teams to understand each customer’s goals with Flock Safety’s solutions
Develop high quality deployment plans that meet product guidelines & best practices and lead to customer satisfaction
Using knowledge of Flock Safety technology, identify outlier situations where an in-person assessment is warranted to ensure a smooth installation
Be the final approver of all deployment plans, willing to professionally rebut Sales & customer feedback with details as to why and provide a solution to ensure successful installs
Meet or exceed deadlines to deliver final plans to the installation team
Review products post-install to ensure the outcome meets the plan
Work with Product & Engineering teams to improve internal tooling necessary to build quality and efficient deployment plans
Identify creative and/or new solutions to problems faced with potential installs to meet customer needs
Can work autonomously in pursuit of overall team goals, their own individual responsibilities as well as assisting team members with their work
Maintain a team mentality in a remote environment
Self motivated and accountable individuals who are dedicated to finding the best solution to a problem
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to drive results
Possess strong, clear communication skills, both verbal and written, communicating with internal partners as well as customers
Strong interest in technology and willing to learn the ins and outs of how the product(s) works. Someone who is not afraid to learn and explore new systems and technologies.

Flexible hours to meet tight deadlines as needed

Someone who will not shy away from difficult tasks so that they may learn and improve, rather than staying within their comfort zone and working with familiar projects and/or tasks.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Previous experience in Law Enforcement and a user of Flock is a plus
Familiarity with SalesForce, Slack, G-Suite, Apple computers is a plus
Preferred timezone of MST and/or PST

The First 30 Days
Meet with the assigned training coordinator who will conduct training as well as delegate time out to all other DS team members to train with new hire
Attend customer meetings when possible, review confluence Workvivo and other training materials, review DPs under supervision and attend other Flock trainings
Become familiar with deployment plans specifically in the assigned pipeline (LE, CS or commercial), including joining customer meetings.
The First 60 Days
Completing deployment reviews independently and tagging another DS specialist for quality control
Manage complex projects/situations (escalating exceptions), and work closely with a Field Ops agent to provide quality control
Completing an average of 50 cameras reviewed per week
Own relocation request reviews for assigned states
90 Days & Beyond

Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $68,000-$80,000 as well as stock options
