About The Position |
As the Tester Coordinator on the Research + Testing’s Health, Family, and Fitness team, you will support Dotdash Meredith’s product testing initiative to create meaningful product insights for our users in the form of original content. You will continue to build a base of on-staff and freelance testers to test products at home and in our labs for various brands, including Verywell Fit, Health, and Parents. You will help support the mission of our team by onboarding, communicating with, giving feedback to, and generally supporting testers throughout the testing period.

Manage the sign-up process for all health, family, and fitness tests, including matching testers to appropriate tests and products

Run the tester recruiting and onboarding process for health, family, and fitness brands, including conducting outreach to recruit new testers, reviewing tester applications, and sharing/hosting trainings

Be the main touchpoint for testers, holding them accountable to deadlines and deliverables

Review all tester insights and photos to ensure that they are thorough and complete and reach out if additional information is needed and to give feedback

Create a process to field tester questions and concerns

Manage and update the tester database, ensuring all testers have insights ratings

Work with operations team to send out and renew tester contracts

Collaborate with the procurement on managing tester products

The Research + Testing team at Dotdash Meredith works to gather brand-specific testing insights and photos through rigorous product testing, which is carefully and meticulously researched and assigned. We collaborate with our edit partners to ensure we are giving our readers the best and most up-to-date product recommendations based on our hands-on testing.
About The Position Contributions:

70% Work with the testers: assigning tests, answering questions, confirming receipt of products, and ensuring they answer all insight questions thoughtfully and submit their photos
15% Recruit new testers: doing outreach, onboarding them with the contracts team, and training them
15% Manage and update the tester database: ensuring all testers have insight ratings and giving feedback
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.
Experience:
Two to three years experience in project management, customer success, client services, and/or operations preferred but not required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

A self-starter who is comfortable working in a quickly changing environment

Proficiency in project management

Comfortable working independently and prioritizing across multiple projects

Thrives on developing best practices and processes

Experience with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Airtable

Pay Range
Hourly: Remote US: $25.00 - $29.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
