Mental Health Professional/Clinical Trainee
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY: To provide mental health services to adults via telehealth. Responsibilities will include initiating and maintaining superior treatment functions consisting of diagnostic assessments, group/individual/family therapy, treatment coordination, and discharge planning.
JOB DUTIES:
· Implement clinical services as directed by the Programs Manager and mandated by licensure.
· Comply with clinical service policies and relevant agency policies.
· Provide clinical services that are client-centered and meet all goals/objectives within licensed required reporting periods.
· Participate in weekly clinical supervision as directed by Programs Manager.
· Utilize evidence-based practices as directed by the Programs Manager.
· Maintain client records that are HIPAA compliant, and meet regulatory, agency, and funding source requirements.
· Follow all systems in place for the safety and welfare of clinical service clients.
· Build and maintain community relationships that will directly affect clinical service outcomes, client referrals, and client care.
· Participate and contribute to agency business plan.
· Report and provide clinical service information to the Programs Manager as directed.
· Provide back up for direct services at any CREATE, Inc. location as needed as directed by the Programs Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Qualified as a mental health professional as defined in MN Chapter 245I.04, subd. 2. (ex. LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP) OR has completed a graduate program in order to obtain independent licensure.
· Preferred: Current license to practice substance use disorder counseling (LADC/ADC-T) in a licensed out-patient setting (245G); or is exempt from licensure under MN Statute 148F.
· Superior understanding of 245G and 245I mandates/requirements.
· Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based clinical service tools in a substance abuse model of service delivery.
· Demonstrated knowledge of working with co-occurring populations.
· Demonstrated knowledge of working with a diverse population.
· Demonstrate knowledge of trauma informed delivery of services.
· Demonstrate the practice of high ethical standards.
· EHR (Procentive) experience preferred.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
