Landmark Environmental, LLC is seeking an Industrial Hygiene / Environmental Hazards Specialist to support environmental consulting projects in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan area and surrounding areas. The position includes a combination of field investigations, technical reporting, regulatory coordination, and client interaction related to asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and indoor environmental quality projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, technically competent, able to work independently in the field, and comfortable interacting with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Additional certifications, such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos inspections, bulk sampling and associated reports.
- Perform asbestos abatement oversight, air monitoring, and prepare the associated reports.
- Conduct lead-based paint inspections, risk assessments, clearance testing and associated reports.
- Conduct radon testing, diagnostics, post-mitigation verification sampling, and assist with mitigation projects.
- Complete indoor air quality and industrial hygiene investigations as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, figures, field documentation, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with laboratories, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare abatement designs for asbestos abatement projects.
Education and Preparedness
- MDH asbestos licensure (Inspector required; Supervisor, Management Planner, and Abatement Designer preferred) or ability to obtain required licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- MDH lead Licensure (Inspector and/or Risk Assessor preferred) or ability to obtain required licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- MDH radon measurement and/or mitigation licensure preferred.
- Relevant environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, or environmental field experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
Position Notes
- Most work is completed within the Twin Cities metropolitan area and the surrounding region. Limited overnight travel may be required.
- This position primarily involves consulting, investigation, assessment, and compliance-related work associated with buildings and environmental conditions. Landmark is not a 24-hour emergency spill response contractor.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
