Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently while managing provider availability.
- Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during patient interactions.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and medical needs.
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize scheduling processes.
- Handle incoming calls professionally and address patient inquiries promptly.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.
Qualifications * Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Experience with insurance verification processes is preferred.
