Responsibilities:
- Recall patient files that are stored with our medical records vendor .
- Maintenance and accountability for high levels of customer service (internal and external).
- Creating and sending out multiple Documentation requests and follow up of those requests
- Calling Physicians and Patients for missing information
- Documentation of all requests
- Maintaining a good working relationships with Service /Sales Reps
- Prepare Monthly Missing Order Documentation (MOD) deduction report
- Input suggestions for MOD improvement
- Performs work accurately and timely
- Handle telephone calls, distribute and document the information appropriately.
- Communicates with referral sources on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain rapport with related departments
- Escalate issues to the proper level or business unit to be able to address the situation
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or Equivalent previous work experience.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data; demonstrate ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
- A strong knowledge of HIPAA, state and federal regulations, Accreditation, and insurances
- A strong knowledge of medical terminology, federal and state regulations, and insurance rules as related to medical equipment and supplies
- Previous customer service experience preferred
COMPUTER SKILLSStrong PC Software and Web skills: MS Word, Outlook, and web based tools. Must be proficient in Excel and Adobe.
LANGUAGE SKILLSTo perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to use the English language properly in written and oral communication. Including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Also possesses the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSTo perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This person must possess the ability to perform calculations that assist the analysis process.
REASONING ABILITYTo perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to solve problems within minutes and also recognize analogous situations and solutions. Also an individual must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
