Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing safety processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role entails developing safety protocols, training staff on safety practices, and investigating incidents. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for maintaining safety records, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in Safety Management, including developing safety protocols and conducting inspections
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Strong skills in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety improvements
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Effective communication skills for training and interacting with staff
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or a related field
