Job Summary
Brain Injury Research Solutions LLC (BIRS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Independent Contractor for medical record reviews. The Contractor will be responsible for abstracting relevant data, constructing medical chronologies, coding information, summarizing symptoms and conditions, and organizing diagnosis tables. This role requires strict adherence to confidentiality protocols, including HIPAA and the Washington Uniform Health Care Information Act (UHCIA).
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and practices related to medical records management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
Work Location: Remote
