Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Safety Instructor and become a vital part of fostering a safe, informed, and proactive environment. You will engage with diverse groups, deliver engaging safety training, and support the implementation of safety protocols across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering safety training sessions to individuals and groups, ensuring clear understanding of safety procedures and best practices
- Support the development and preparation of instructional materials and safety demonstrations
- Observe and evaluate participants’ understanding during training activities, providing constructive feedback
- Help maintain a safe training environment by ensuring all equipment and facilities meet safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to organize safety drills, assessments, and community outreach events
- Collect feedback from participants to improve future training sessions and ensure engagement
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, assessments, and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent, associates degree or higher preferred
- 1 - year oil and gas industry experience
- Knowledge of H2S, Fit Test, Industry safety subjects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and confidently - Bilingual
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to learning and teaching safety concepts
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to learn industry-specific standards
- Knowledge on computer programs, ex: word, excel, PowerPoint etc.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
