Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to lead our organization’s safety initiatives and foster a culture of health and safety excellence. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in occupational health practices, accident prevention, and emergency response procedures, empowering our team to operate confidently and securely.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Conduct regular inspections on safety equipment and tools
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses through reporting; identify root causes and implement corrective action
- Provide safety training for all personnel
- Maintain accurate HSE records and reports, including indecent logs, training records, and inspection checklists
- Collaborate with management and operations teams to ensure safety as a top priority
- Stay current on regulator changes and industry best practices
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Deliver engaging training sessions on safety protocols, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), OSHA compliance, and occupational health best practices.
- Manage workers' compensation claims process in accordance with workers' compensation law, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Maintain accurate safety records, prepare detailed report writing on incidents, inspections, and safety performance metrics.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure readiness for potential incidents or environmental hazards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, occupational health principles, and workers' compensation law.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) programs.
- Excellent report writing skills combined with the ability to analyze root causes of safety issues effectively.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, and trained in hazard assessment techniques.
- Ability to deliver impactful training & development sessions that engage diverse teams.
- Skilled in conducting thorough investigations using root cause analysis methodologies to identify systemic issues.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 -7 years experience in an HSE role, preferably in oil & gas service
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards
- Certification in HSE (e.g., OSHA 30, NEBOSH, CSP) is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
