Responsibilities
- Decorate cookies using royal icing and vanilla flow icing techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
- Follow ticket orders and designs, bringing creativity to make each cookie order special
- Follow all food safety protocols during food handling, decoration, and packaging to ensure hygiene and compliance with industry standards
Experience
- Proven experience in cookie decorating, within a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Familiarity with culinary tools such as piping bags, spatulas, and decorating tips
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service experience that demonstrates effective communication skills and a friendly approach
