Per Diem: $150/day (paid 7 days per week if residing more than 50 miles from project site)

A major industrial installation project in Box Elder, Utah, is seeking a high-caliber Construction Safety Leader to support a large-scale manufacturing project in a Lean Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) environment.
This is not a compliance-driven enforcement role.
This position requires a respected safety professional capable of influencing and leading an established team of up to 10 safety contractors toward a stronger Lean Delivery culture. The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to coach both craft and safety professionals, integrate safety into collaborative planning systems, and drive measurable cultural improvement across the project.
Provide daily leadership and mentoring to craft teams, subcontractors, and safety professionals
Influence and guide up to 10 safety contractors toward a Lean, engagement-based mindset
Integrate safety into Lean IPD systems, pull planning, and collaborative workflows
Strengthen leading indicators, KPIs, and proactive safety engagement
Reinvigorate and expand the Near Miss reporting program
Champion the 20-20-20 BOS initiative and proactive hazard elimination
Lead morning all-contractor huddles and engagement sessions
Support incident investigation, corrective actions, and performance stabilization
Align site practices with internal safety management systems and compliance standards
Generate continuous improvement ideas aligned with Lean principles
Demonstrated leadership of other safety professionals (not just field enforcement)
Proven ability to influence culture across craft, GC, subcontractor, and owner stakeholders
Experience working in Lean Delivery, IPD, or Last Planner environments (preferred)
Strong coaching and mentoring capability - collaborative, not authoritarian
Ability to communicate the "why" behind expectations
High emotional intelligence and executive-level communication presence
Experience in installation, mechanical, or process-equipment construction environments
