- Diagnose and manage Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, and prediabetes cases
- Develop individualized treatment plans including lifestyle modification, pharmacotherapy, and insulin management
- Monitor and manage diabetes-related complications (neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy, cardiovascular risk, etc.)
- Provide continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) interpretation and insulin pump management (if applicable)
- Educate patients and families on disease management, diet, exercise, and preventive care
- Collaborate with dieticians, endocrinologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists
- Conduct regular follow-ups and review lab investigations
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to community awareness programs and preventive health camps (if required)
