1. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY & STANDARDS
Drivers must:
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Meet insurance eligibility requirements
- Follow all company policies at all times
Failure to meet eligibility standards may result in suspension or termination.
2. SAFETY & LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Drivers must:
- Obey all federal, state, and local traffic laws
- Follow FMCSA and DOT safety guidelines (even if CDL is not required)
- Never operate a vehicle while fatigued
- Use seatbelts at all times
Reckless driving, speeding, or unsafe operation will not be tolerated.
3. HOURS OF SERVICE & FATIGUE POLICY
- Drivers must take adequate rest breaks
- No driving while fatigued
- Maximum daily driving hours determined by company policy
- Dispatch must be notified immediately if a driver is unable to safely continue a load
Safety always takes priority over delivery speed.
4. VEHICLE USE & CARE
Drivers are responsible for:
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keeping vehicles clean and presentable
- Reporting mechanical issues immediately
- Using vehicles for company business only
PROHIBITED:
- Unauthorized passengers
- Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle
- Alcohol, illegal drugs, or misuse of prescriptions
- Personal use without approval
5. FREIGHT HANDLING & SECURITY
Drivers must:
- Verify load details before departure
- Secure all freight properly
- Protect freight from damage or theft
- Never tamper with or open sealed freight
- Follow shipper and receiver instructions
Any loss, damage, or discrepancy must be reported immediately.
6. COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS
Drivers must:
- Maintain active phone communication during trips
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls or messages
- Provide pickup, transit, and delivery updates
- Report delays, breakdowns, or issues immediately
Failure to communicate may result in disciplinary action.
7. DELIVERY & DOCUMENTATION
Drivers are responsible for:
- On-time pickup and delivery
- Obtaining proper signatures (BOL / POD)
- Photographing loads or deliveries when required
- Submitting all documents promptly
Incomplete or late paperwork may delay payment.
8. ACCIDENTS, INCIDENTS & EMERGENCIES
In the event of an accident or incident:
- Ensure personal safety first
- Contact emergency services if needed
- Notify dispatch immediately
- Take photos and gather information
- Do NOT admit fault
Failure to report incidents immediately is grounds for termination.
9. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Drivers must:
- Act professionally with shippers, receivers, and the public
- Maintain proper hygiene and appearance
- Avoid confrontations or disputes
- Represent Drive Direct Logistics LLC positively at all times
Unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
