In this position, you will be:
Answering inquiries of general nature from applicants, visitors and professional staff, assisting them in a friendly and cooperative manner
· Is responsible for maintaining records for past and present clients
· Maintain medical records in locked cabinets to assure confidentiality of patient information
· Set up new patient clinical records
· File documentation on patient charts in chronological order in appropriate locations, weekly
· Monitor check-in and check-out of patient charts by office and field staff
· Assist staff in locating charts and documentation
· Log in and out physician orders and mail orders to the appropriate physicians
· Develop and implement systems to assure organization and timely retrieval of documentation
· Break down discharged patients records and give them to the Q.I. Department for review discharge
· Maintain and store all discharged patient charts
· Assist with the orientation of new employees as requested
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
