Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Keep abreast of DOT industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the training content is up to date.
- Facilitate group coaching sessions to promote a collective commitment to safety within teams.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to individuals and teams to improve safety performance.
- Collaborate with employees to understand the factors influencing their behaviors and develop strategies for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Develop and implement initiatives to celebrate and recognize safety achievements.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
- Lead Safety trainings for new Auto Transport driver trainers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Psychology, or a related field not required however a plus.
- Knowledgeable of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Ability to fabricate effective training programs tailored to individual or team needs.
- Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations related to workplace safety, including OSHA and DOT requirements.
- Proven experience in safety training, coaching, or a related role.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in athlete performance or team dynamics.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends regarding safety and risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- DOT knowledge
- Auto Transportation knowledge preferred.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
