Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and EXPERIENCED Healthcare Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the company's financial strategy. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing leadership to the finance team. This position requires a strong background in corporate accounting, public accounting, and senior leadership, with a focus on managing financial concepts and revenue cycle management.
Duties
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Supervises, trains and oversees staff development of all accounting and finance employees
- Maintains Financial Records and reporting within GAAP
- Maintains and manages QuickBooks, ADP, Billing Medicare, Medicaid, Waiver and Insurance
- Ensures compliance with all FASB, GAAP, CARF and CHAP Administrative and Financial requirements.
- Prepares financial statements & Tax information for internal and external communication.
- Manages and facilitates multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Oversee payroll and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and other regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members to enhance their professional development.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and partners to optimize financial performance.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making at the executive level.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Monitor revenue cycle management processes to maximize cash flow and minimize risk.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution; Master’s Degree or CPA Preferred.
- Has a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in health care - preferably a Medicare certified HHA, licensed PSA and DDRS provider
- Demonstrates initiative in managing issues and problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $132,099.00 - $144,989.00 per year
