Job Summary
The Health Center Manager oversees all medical center operations, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include meeting production targets, aligning strategies with organizational goals and financial oversights. They drive continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and process optimization while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. The manager fosters collaboration with healthcare providers and staff, promoting high-quality care, professional development, and innovation. They also oversee facility operations to support seamless healthcare delivery and enhance patient experience, while staying updated on industry trends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of the Medical Center, ensuring optimal efficiency, staff productivity, and seamless integration of patient-centered care principles.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational workflows, reducing patient wait times, and elevating overall patient experience.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to manage financial oversight, achieve production targets, and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
- Establish and exceed operational benchmarks while maintaining fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Drive performance excellence through proactive monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends, and implementing innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead process optimization initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to streamline operations and enhance quality of care delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrative staff, and external partners, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Champion patient engagement initiatives and care coordination efforts to ensure high-quality, patient-centric healthcare services that meet regulatory standards and exceed patient expectations.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, to safeguard patient confidentiality and uphold standards of patient and staff safety.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, implement corrective actions, and monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe healthcare environment.
- Foster a culture of professional growth, diversity, and innovation within the team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities to enhance staff competencies and job satisfaction.
- Promote a collaborative work environment that values transparency, integrity, and ethical behavior, building trust and cohesion among team members and promoting a positive organizational culture.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
- Partner with finance and administrative teams to implement cost-effective solutions and optimize financial performance while maintaining high standards of healthcare delivery.
- Maintain a pristine and organized medical center environment that reflects the organization's commitment to professionalism, cleanliness, and patient comfort.
- Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, equipment management, and resource allocation, to support uninterrupted healthcare delivery and enhance overall patient experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare regulations, and best practices through continuous education and professional development, maintaining licensure and certifications as required.
- Actively participate in industry conferences, forums, and professional networks to exchange knowledge, gain insights, and drive innovation in healthcare management and administration.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant internal and/or external work experience in a similar service industry required, preferably in healthcare.
- Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant internal and/or external work experience in a similar service industry required, preferably in healthcare.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Healthcare, or Public Administration with 2 years of related internal and/or external work experience in a similar service industry required, preferably in healthcare.

Physical Requirements
This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
