We are seeking a dedicated Onsite Electrical Safety Manager to join our team and ensure that our electrical installations meet the strictest safety protocols.
Job Description:
The Onsite Electrical Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing electrical safety standards across our projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, safety management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce electrical safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of electrical systems and installations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to electrical safety.
- Provide training and support to employees on electrical safety best practices.
- Investigate and report on any electrical incidents or near-misses.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure electrical safety is prioritized in all phases of construction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in electrical safety.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans related to electrical hazards.
- Manage and maintain safety documentation, including safety reports, risk assessments, and safety data sheets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical safety management, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors.
- Certification in electrical safety or safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST, NFPA 70E).
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and other relevant safety codes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
