We specialize in flatbed trailer transportation and offer regional routes for drivers who prefer to be home nightly, as well as over-the-road (OTR) routes for those who enjoy multi-day trips. Key Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver at Diaz Logistics, you will:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Deliver goods on time and in excellent condition using flatbed trailers.
- Strap and tarp loads as required for flatbed transportation.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean driving record.
Regional Drivers:
- Drive within a designated region with consistent routes.
- Return home nightly for work-life balance.
OTR Drivers:
- Embark on multi-day trips nationwide.
- Maximize earnings with extended time on the road.
Qualifications
We’re seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- A minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
- A proven record of safe driving, both professionally and personally.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 points in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules.
