We are seeking a PRN MRI technologist for coverage at our NKC clinic location to perform MRI scans ordered by physicians and midlevel providers on a PRN basis. Hours are variable per week. Applicant must be high energy, compassionate, flexible, and have great attention to detail.
Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients in the clinic
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Ensure patient safety during scans
- Monitor patients' vital signs during scans
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide accurate and timely imaging results
- Maintain patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
