Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking an experienced Site Safety & Health Specialist to support large-scale, mission-critical, and capital construction projects across the Technology, Energy, Utilities, and EPC sectors. This role is responsible for implementing, enforcing, and continuously improving site safety programs to ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, client safety standards, and project-specific requirements.
The ideal candidate is field-focused, highly organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced construction or industrial environments with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
Implement and manage site-specific Safety & Health Programs in alignment with OSHA, client, and EPC requirements
Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; document findings and corrective actions
Lead Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs)
Facilitate site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for field personnel and subcontractors
Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, fall protection, confined space, LOTO, hot work, and heavy equipment operations
Serve as the primary on-site safety liaison between APS, client representatives, EPCs, and subcontractors
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; complete root-cause analysis and incident reporting
Maintain accurate safety documentation including logs, permits, inspection reports, and training records
Support emergency response planning, drills, and incident response activities
Promote a proactive safety-first culture across all project personnel
3–7+ years of site safety experience in construction, EPC, energy, utilities, industrial, or data center environments
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910 & 1926)
Experience working on active construction sites with multiple trades and contractors
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, work scopes, and safety plans
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safe behavior in the field
Proficient with safety reporting tools, MS Office, and digital inspection platforms
OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry) – Required
OSHA 510 / 511 or 500 / 501 – Preferred
CHST, ASP, CSP – Strongly Preferred
First Aid / CPR / AED
NFPA 70E (Arc Flash)
Confined Space, Fall Protection, or LOTO certifications
Active construction and industrial job sites
Ability to walk job sites for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions
Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)
Travel may be required depending on project assignment
