Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards related to construction management, occupational health, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) practices.
- Lead risk management initiatives by assessing project risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies to minimize incidents.
- Manage workers' compensation processes, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with legal obligations.
- Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation efficiently.
- Provide training sessions on OSHA regulations, construction site safety procedures, and emergency response protocols to all personnel.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure ongoing compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), construction standards, and safety best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health, OSHA regulations, and compliance management.
- Familiarity with NEC standards, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS principles within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using construction management software for safety tracking and reporting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of construction site experience including hazard identification and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and coordinate with stakeholders on safety initiatives.
