Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Job Site Presence– Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours.
- Safety Program Management– Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs for data center construction.
- Safety Documentation– Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA)
- Regulatory Compliance– Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations; conduct regular job site inspections.
- Incident Investigation– Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazards; recommend corrective actions.
- Training & Compliance– Provide safety training and ensure workers meet required certifications.
- Communication & Reporting– Serve as the primary safety contact, report incidents, and maintain documentation.
- Collaboration– Work with project managers and crews to integrate safety into operations.
- Equipment Oversight– Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure safety equipment is maintained.
- Specialized Support (Preferred)– Assist with cabling tasks and provide safety insights for data center operations.
