Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluation of medical histories, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
- Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to address acute pain management, chronic conditions, and overall wellness goals
- Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and improve mobility
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in adherence to medical terminology standards
- Ensure all procedures follow aseptic protocols to uphold safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment strategies that optimize patient outcomes
Skills
- Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist with current CPR Certification and BLS Certification for emergency preparedness
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice
- Expertise in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain relief techniques
- Proficiency in patient assessment methods and conducting physical examinations effectively
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent infections during treatments
- Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly and professionally to diverse patient populations

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
